North Wolcott School House Restoration

August 17, 2011 - NORTH WOLCOTT -
The North Wolcott School House restoration crew has been busy this summer. The school house has a new steel roof on the main building and in the attached photo work on the small coat room and bathroom area roof is underway. The roofing crew consisted of Larry Rodas, Joey Krul and Keith Roberts. Gary Wells is now facing the cinder block foundation with stone as can be seen in the attached photo. Work is also underway on the small front entryway that will be moved down to the building and attached later this month. Earlier this summer the North Wolcott Historical group hosted a successful summer picnic attended by about two dozen former students and family at the school house. Volunteers and cash donations are always appreciated. Stop by and see what’s up at the little school house now on Rasbeck Road near the Larkin Road intersection.
