WEEK OF AUGUST 17, 2011
Summer of Rose hosts Merry Mischief
Those attending the Aug. 11 performance at the Summer of Rose concert series were entertained by Merry Mischief-otherwise known as Marilyn and Wayne “Harry” Fuller of Jordan, Onondaga County. They delighted the audience with Pirate Songs, the history of famous pirates’ flags, and humorous tidbits. This was a repeat performance for this twosome but with a different musical theme than 2010. When not making appearances at community festivals or concerts, they can be heard performing at the Renaissance Faire in Sterling, Cayuga County. There are three more concerts in this series. Shows start at 7 p.m. Raffles, snacks and door prizes all add to the fun.
Clyde High School Class of 1954
This class had met yearly since their 50th class reunion at the camp of George Dapolito. This year, 15 classmates attended the reunion with spouses or family. Coming from the greatest distance was Nancy Dickerson Sharp. Sharing stories of what has happened since they last saw each other is a always interesting and there is always delicious food enough to feed twice the number that attend.
